The sky has gained a new twinkling star. Dear Mónica, thank you for your friendship and your contagious laughter. My deepest condolences, to Peter, Mónica's parents, other relatives and friends.

Mónica was an illuminated person who illuminated all those who had the privilege of knowing her. During the almost 20 years we were able to spend with her, she always stood out for her friendliness, concern for the others, empathy and strong professionalism. She never denied any help and always did her best to go above and beyond of what was asked of her. The lunches we had with her were memorable. It wouldn’t take much: a good meal, a bottle of wine and a good humour were never lacking. Life played a terrible trick on her, but she never lost her dignity. Right until the end. We will always remember her with fondness and nostalgia for the rest of the time we will spend in this world. And also her lessons, because one thing she liked was to give her opinion on any and every subject with unshakeable conviction. Whether you agreed or not, her commitment to everything she did and defended was admirable. She is now one more star in the sky. To her parents, to Peter, to the rest of her family and friends, the sincerest condolences of her friends Ana, Cristina and Gabriela (and the other star, Marina, who also left us very recently).
